August 9 (Friday)
3:00pm - 5:00pm

Presenter: Alfred DePew

Messenger of the gods, guide of souls, trickster and patron of thieves, Mercury rules communication and the mind. When focused, he can be a powerful ally. At other times, a real nuisance.

Join Alfred as he explores different ways of working with this archetype’s many forms and aspects. Bring a notebook or paper and a pen and be ready to have some serious, purposeful fun!

Alfred DePew is a migrant cultural worker who has been working with artists and writers and their creative process for over thirty years. He is the author or The Melancholy of Departure, which won the Flannery O’Connor Award and A Wedding Song for Poorer People, which was a 2014 INDIEFAB Book of the Year Finalist. His most recent book, Odalisque, is set in Quebec City in the heady days of Les Automatistes and their Refus global after World War II. He lives in Vancouver, where he maintains a private practice in leadership development, spiritual direction, evolutionary astrology and dream work.
