Welcome Message from Mayor and Council

On behalf of Council, I am delighted to invite you to the 33rd annual Harmony Arts Festival!

Our beautiful and vibrant West Vancouver waterfront is where residents and visitors will get together to celebrate summer and enjoy the best of arts, music, and the culinary scene of the North Shore. For ten days, this unique festival will offer an extensive array of free programming that includes events, shows, art installations, and workshops, with activities for all ages.

Our gorgeous Millennium Park is once again the heart of the festival, where two stages will come alive with daily concerts. There will be more than 50 free live musical performances across a wide range of music genres, and food trucks will offer flavours from around the world, giving you many dining options.

I am also happy to say that the newly renovated Ferry Building Gallery will be part of the Harmony Arts Festival this year, featuring interactive art installations, exhibitions, workshops, and artist talks – truly something for all art enthusiasts.

You can even test your talent for wood carving at the Indigenous Artists and Carvers Studio, where Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) artist Xwalacktun and other talented carvers will demonstrate their work and cultural traditions.

At John Lawson Park, families can experience the visual arts hub with daily events, displays, and hands-on activities, and the Artsy Kids program will be a space for kids to express their creativity through fun workshops.

On Argyle Avenue, you can support local artisans and find handmade treasures including ceramics, glass, jewelry, leather, painting, photography, textiles, and woodcraft in the festival’s exceptional art market.

And as a topper, the festival’s favourite culinary event, Best of the West, offers a signature culinary experience with the most delicious food and drink pairings from local restaurants and wineries.

My gratitude goes out to our generous sponsors, suppliers, and local businesses, who have been supporters of our festival for years. I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers who help make the festival a success with their commitment and high energy.

Arts and culture are part of the essence of our community, and we are committed to ensuring that the festival remains an inclusive event accessible to all. This celebration is for everyone! A beloved tradition in West Vancouver, Harmony Arts Festival translates our vision to create a vibrant, inclusive, and livable community. Bring your family, friends, and neighbours and join us at the waterfront at the Harmony Arts Festival!
